We have been making organic chutneys and jams since the turn of the millenium here on the farm. It started out as a response to the surplus vegetables left from an early veg box scheme that we were running on the farm. The chutneys soon outgrew the box scheme surpluses and took on a life of their own. More recently we have planted numerous soft and top fruits on the farm as well as a nut grove with hazels, walnuts and chestnuts. Much of the produce used is grown on the farm in our intensive market garden in deep beds and under our polytunnel.
